A Chartered Accountant, Gareth Davies has been established in Leigh for over 15 years. In fact, some of his new clients are the sons and daughters of his clients from his earliest days. Specialising in the intricacies of taxation, Gareth advises his clients on how to legally keep their tax bill down. Who are we?

We are a three partner firm of Chartered Accountants founded in 1982, previously known as R A Smith & Co and now incorporating DK Associates. We are all locals and between us have over 50 years of experience in practice and commerce.

Where are we?

We are based in the heart of Leigh-on-Sea, Essex. As our address indicates we are next to the ancient church of St Clement’s in ground floor offices enjoying a unique location. We are able to offer parking for visiting clients – no small benefit as those of you familiar with this thriving business area will know.

What do we do?

We aim to provide a very personal efficient and effective service for all our clients most of whom are owner managed businesses where a friendly relationship is valued. We provide a full range of services – we don’t just see ourselves as processors of information for the Inland Revenue. We are there to help with all aspects of an ever increasingly complicated business environment. Naturally this includes audit and accountancy work, taxation advice and planning, payroll handling, computerisation advice and protecting clients from the costs of Inland Revenue investigations – more importantly we are there to help you grow and to be there when clients need help and advice on day to day problems. We aim to be proactive and supplement individual client work with seminars on issues of current importance, most recently IR35 and Stakeholder pensions.
