ESSEX AIR AMBULANCE

Back

Many people will probably be aware of the valuable life saving work carried out by the members of the Essex Air Ambulance (EAA) Service.  However, what most people are not aware of, is that this service receives no official funding and is run totally on charitable donations.

In June 2000, leigh-on-sea.com were fortunate enough to be invited to the EAA's base at Boreham (an old World War ll airfield, near Chelmsford), to meet the people involved and see exactly what goes on behind the scenes.
