Hi there i am a 27 year old female singer currently living in Rochford but looking to move to Leigh.

I'm looking for people who would be interested in forming a duo or band. I love jazz, soul, motown and maybe create some original stuff. I used to run a pub so I have quite a lot of contacts for future gigging.

Hi, I am a singer who has recently relocated to Southend and I am interested in meeting other musicians who may want to form a band or just fancy jamming even. I am 43 so although the age is not an issue I would obviously prefer to hear from people that are a little more mature (and experienced). My partner is a drummer who has been playing in Southend and elsewhere for years, he has played with "The Receeders", "Aftermath", "Steve hooker", etc. So if you could give me more information as to how things work , I would be very grateful, (nice to find a website for live music too!!).

Hello, I used to nanny for Shirley and Lee Brilleaux (yes, Dr. Feelgood) in the late 1980's. I am trying to locate a dear friend and local musician, Chris Ward. He used to have a band called the Dalmatians, then it was Swimming; he played with Mark ? and Angus ? and Rhiannon ? and I can't remember any other names. Hi people, this is Richie from Freeform Nation a local band (southend). Myself (guitar), Jim (Keys) and Jason (bass) are looking to form a new band with the specific view of playing at Glastonbury 2004. There is a competition with 5 places to be won on various stages. We have a good sets worth of material already in the bag and a Demo recorded at Nightlfly last year. We need a drummer into 60's, 70's country rock, blues and Psychedelia (think Greatful Dead, Allmans and Little Feat). Also we would like to try out other musicians(guitars, horns, flute and percussion etc.) to add to the fold. Age/sex is not an issue, just want people who love the music. I am trying to locate band members from a group called the tombstones in the 1960s that played in the battle of the bands at the greenville memorial auditorium in greenville south carolina.I only know the names of two members,Stan Ward and Tommy Lollis but I think there were about four more.

Hi, I am a pedal steel player based near Cambridge, I packed up playing about 7 years ago but am now experiencing some withdrawal symptoms,and feel I would like to play again, trouble is when I get out my little red book and start to phone around to try to find a gig , I found so many people have died or moved away, I am afraid to ask!! I am well the wrong side of 50yrs. but still have my own hair and teeth and can play! can you help me please?

If there are any "old" people out there, I may be remembered from "The Alabama Hayriders" or "Wildwood" or Jon Derricks"Country Fever" or the Peterborough Country music festivals where I worked with Bobby Bare,Ferlin Husky and Dave Dudley.

I'm new to Leigh (moved here about a week ago) and I'm looking for musicians who might fancy getting together informally sometime for some playing.

I'm a clarinet player, albeit somewhat rusty these days, and I'm really interested in working with chamber groups to play good music and have a bit of a laugh. When I lived in London I was involved in a small group which met intermittently to rehearse stuff and I'd love to set up or get involved with something similar here.

My real interest is C19th, especially Brahms, but I'm fairly flexible on repertoire. Time permitting, I'm also happy to re-arrange stuff according to forces.
