Leigh Road Baptist Church’s Eco Fayre!

Leigh-on-Sea, November 2024 – With the holiday season just around the corner, Leigh Road Baptist Church is excited to host its 12th annual Christmas Eco Fayre on Saturday, November 16, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. This free-entry, family-friendly event promises a day filled with festive fun, all while emphasizing sustainability and supporting our local community.

This year’s Eco Fayre features over 40 unique stalls offering eco-friendly and ethically sourced Christmas gifts, second-hand books, toys, and delightful bric-a-brac. Families will be thrilled to discover a children’s fun and games, face painting, and plenty of delicious refreshments and cakes. For those seeking ideas on how to celebrate the season sustainably, there will be info points providing practical tips and guidance.

Volunteer organiser and church member Julie Eady shares her enthusiasm: “We’re so proud to host this event for the 12th year running! It’s a fantastic way to come together, celebrate the spirit of Christmas, and discover new ways to reduce our environmental impact. Every year, we’re inspired by the community’s support and the positive changes we can make together.”
