The sense of togetherness felt fitting for a show that radiates with collective warmth and companionship, and I left the theatre feeling uplifted: that perhaps, doing something just for the fun of it matters way more than being the best
Natalie and Ami Solomons, co-founders of The Ironworks based at the Leigh-on-sea Community Centre, were selected for the national accolade by local MP David Burton-Sampson.
I can understand why this show has received such great reviews and I can honestly say it was a marvel of a production so I would urge you to see it if you possibly can. I could not have imagined a show such as this resulting from an eight decades old true war mission...but it worked really well. Ten out of ten

Oliver Bearman is a charming and charismatic Shrek, while Donkey is played to cheeky perfection by Charlie Wright. Freddie Strange’s brilliantly campy portrayal of Lord Farquaad was a comedy highlight, while Iris-Lilly Oldham absolutely nailed Princess Fiona’s endearing goofiness throughout.
