Film Night at The Bloc House

What's that you say? Another Film Night at theblokhouse? Yes please!

Another awesome and eclectic selection of short films made by local filmmakers have now made the final cut. Thank you to all those who submitted their short films to us, you made the selection process very challenging as we received so many great films!

After doing a narrative-only event last year, this year we have broadened the formats - from documentary, to poetry, to experimental... with just one narrative short making the lineup. There will be a short time after each film for Q&A with the filmmakers.

We will announce the selected films on our socials shortly... Meanwhile, put the date in your diary!

A cocktail and mocktail will be curated especially for this event, available to buy on the night from 5:30pm at theblokhouse bar. Screenings start promptly at 6:30pm and will end at 8:30pm, when there will be a chance to chat to the filmmakers and the creative community.

This is a pay-what-you-can event. Suggested donation £5-8. All donations help us cover Eventbrite fees, marketing, event and staff costs, as well as helping to sustain theblokhouse studios. We are a nonprofit Community Interest Company no: 14598567.

We regret that this event is not wheelchair or buggy accessible as there are stairs to access this event.

We look forward to celebrating local creative talent with you on the night! Please find a link to tickets below, but don’t wait too long – tickets always sell fast for this event!
