Best of Both Worlds

Are you fed up with the hustle and bustle of Leigh on Sea?
Feeling claustrophobic with properties and people all around you?
But are you still tied to the area with schools, friends and family or the dreaded commute into London still likely to be happening for the foreseeable future? I might just have the answer?

For the same price as a 4 bedroom detached house on the Marine Estate you can have a 5 bedroom, 2 bathrooms, 3 reception room detached property with loads of parking and a garage. Oh and did I mention that it has 8 acres, 6 stables and is in an idyllic rural location just a 10 minute drive away from Rochford station.

It seems a bit of a no brainer to me, a really good size family home with no neighbours, views over open countryside and potential for a separate business if wanted?

The bungalow itself has 5 double bedrooms, the master bedroom has a luxury en suite, huge lounge, dining room & conservatory, family bathroom and a large utility/boot room an essential for any country house. It is in need of some work but has benefits such as a 125’ road frontage with a massive in and out driveway. None of your single parking spaces or shared drives that you are used to in Leigh.

The formal gardens for the property extend to approx. 1 acre which in itself would cost at least £1,500,000 if it was in Leigh. Then there is a separate driveway to the side with gated access to the stables. 6 x 12’ x 12’ stables all with their own tack rooms plus a large barn, fenced paddocks of approx. 7 acres all with water, an all weather paddock and floodlight menage. All you need to set up and run a successful business or to grant your little darlings their wish and get them that pony they have been bugging you about for years.

All this for just £900,000 and within a short drive of Rochford or Hockley town centres with plenty of shops, railway lines, airport, schools and everything relatively close to hand. Yes, if you want to have a coffee in Leigh Broadway you will have to get in the car for 15 minutes or so but how often do you do that anyway?

So it might be a bit of a leap in to the unknown or it could be something you have thought and dreamed about for years buy may be now might be the time to consider it. May be not if you suffer from hay fever or are allergic to horses?
