June 13, 2018 by Joanna

c2c has apolpgised for the disruptions that saw thousands of commuters stranded at Fenchurch Street on Wedneday 13th June.

Damage to the overhead electrical system near East Ham, resulted in damage to the signalling system which in turn, stopped trains running between Upminster and Fenchurch Street in rush hour last night.

Commuters were met with further misery when a track fault outside Liverpool Street saw Greater Anglia line also reduce their services.

Trains are running as normal today on Thursday 14th June.
