Dublin based firm Ryanair launch partnership with Southend Airport

More than 60 weekly flights, to 13 routes in 8 European countries will be available, as low fair airline Ryanair launched their new base at Southend Airport yesterday morning.

The Dublin based firm have invested approximately $300 into the airport, creating 750 jobs on-site. 

New destinations include Alicante, Dublin, Corfu, Venice, Milan and Copenhagen, which they hope will cultivate in an extra 1 million passengers through the airport within the first year.
