easyJet announces new flights from Southend Airport to Belfast City
easyJet has announced a new route between London Southend Airport and Belfast City Airport, further strengthening its UK domestic network and providing customers in Essex and the wider South East with direct access to Northern Ireland’s capital.
Flights are on sale from today, with the new service set to commence on 25th October 2026 and operate three times a week on Mondays, Fridays and Sundays.
The route is ideally timed for long weekends, short breaks, visiting friends and family and business travel, offering customers flexible and affordable travel options between the two cities.
The new route will support tourism, business connectivity and regional ties. With quick access to central London from London Southend Airport and Belfast City Airport located just minutes from the city centre, the service enables customers to make the most of their time at both ends of the journey.
Belfast offers visitors a rich mix of history, culture and contemporary attractions. From the world famous Titanic Belfast and historic architecture to a thriving food and drink scene, live music and arts culture, the city has something for everyone. Beyond the city, visitors can easily explore Northern Ireland’s stunning coastline, including the Giant’s Causeway and Causeway Coast, making Belfast a compelling year round destination.
Seats are available to book now at easyJet.com and via the easyJet mobile app, with fares starting from £25.99.
easyJet holidays is also offering package holidays to Belfast, including return flights and hotel, giving customers great value and added convenience. All packages benefit from Ultimate Flexibility, which include the freedom to amend or cancel a booking.
easyJet and easyJet Holidays have introduced a Book with Confidence Promise to reassure customers on their travel plans. The pledge guarantees that flight and package prices will not increase in price once booked and confirms that easyJet intends to operate a full schedule across its network, despite competitors cutting routes, as easyJet prepares to fly over 50 million passengers this summer.
