Absconded rapist set to appear in court
Absconded rapist set to appear in court
A convicted rapist who absconded from court a few weeks ago, is due before a judge today for leaving court without permission.
Adrian Horwat, 21 from Southend was convicted of rape following a trial at Southend Crown Court back in March but disappeared before the jury were able to return verdicts on a number of other matters, of which he was later found not guilty of.
On Sunday 3rd April, Horwat turned himself into police and was arrested for breaching court imposed bail restrictions.
