Grant Applications Open For Big Sparks Project coming soon to Leigh-on-sea

Leigh-on-sea Town Council will be delivering the Big Sparks Grant Project this January.

The Big Sparks Fund will provide grants to residents, businesses, and community groups who want to make a positive change in their local communities. A total of £40,000 will be available in each of four neighbourhoods across the city. The fund will be designed and delivered by people who live, work, and support residents in these areas.

Residents, businesses, and voluntary sector organisations will be invited to submit ideas to make their neighbourhoods safer, happier, or healthier, supporting the city’s vision of ageing, caring, and living well.

These ideas will be reviewed by a neighbourhood panel before going to a public “Big Vote.”

The neighbourhoods covered by this programme are:

Belfairs

Eastwood Park

Leigh

West Leigh

The planned launch is on the 28th January. Applications will be open for three weeks, closing on 18 February
