Greedy for Geneva? London Southend adds even more flights to Switzerland

January 21, 2026

Can’t get enough of Geneva? You’re not alone!

London Southend Airport is serving up even more flights to Switzerland, extending its popular Geneva route right through to mid-October – proving once and for all that this Alpine favourite isn’t just for ski season.

Having already extended the route into mid-June, the airport is now keeping planes flying at the tail end of summer, with easyJet flights running on Mondays and Fridays from August 31 to October 23. That’s eight extra weeks to ditch the UK drizzle for and swap it out for dazzling lakes, mountain views and café-lined streets.

Geneva is now a go-to destination for all four seasons: perfect for end-of-season ski, long weekends in spring, summer escapes and autumn adventures – all flown from the award- winning easy, speedy and friendly airport.

Speaking about the extended season, Business Development Director at London Southend Airport, Nigel Mayes, said: “Passengers in Essex, London and East Anglia can now experience the diversity of Geneva in every season. From lakeside strolls in the sunshine to alpine hikes and crisp autumn views, Geneva has shaken off its ‘winter-only’ reputation. In fact, aside from July and November, London Southend now offers a near year-round service to the Swiss city.”

The extra Geneva flights further boost London Southend Airport’s growing network of 25 easyJet destinations in 2026, giving passengers even more ways to escape – whether they’re chasing sunshine, scenery or snow.

So if you’re feeling Greedy for Geneva, the message is clear: you’ve now got even more time to go!
