In the name of charity

This week we selflessly held a coffee morning in the office in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. This entailed us eating our own body weights in cake whilst giving generously to charity; A special mention must go out to Lisa, Simone & Helen for devouring more cake than was previously thought possible by such dainty ladies!

This is a charity very close too our hearts here at Scott & Stapleton. We were delighted to help out and see so many people who dropped by and a very good effort by all, raising a fantastic total.

All of you who know me realise how whiter than white I am and will know that I always refrain from the eating of cake when it comes into the office. Not being in work last Friday I thought I could keep away from temptation, but unfortunately, we obviously had so much cake that there was very unexpected leftovers and of course I managed to make very good use of them whilst carrying out my favourite pastime of tidying the office the day after.
