Latest independent Leigh Broadway shop set to close
One of Leigh's longest standing independent stores is set to close after 35 years of trading.
LPC Stationers based in Elm Road, first opened it's doors in 1983 but owner Mark Davis has said that it is "impossible to maintain a bricks and mortar shop and charge online prices in-store".
The business will continue to operate online as their internet sales continue to grow and they will relocate the printing and stationary element of the business to a smaller premises in Eastwood which will be open to consumers and trade.
