Two men charged with GBH

Officers were called to the junction of Napier Avenue and Queens Road at approx 2:15pm on Saturday with report's that a 19 year old man, believed to be from London, had been found with a stab wound to his chest.

The victim was taken to hospital where he remains in a critical condition. 

Detectives have today formally charged two men in connection with the incident; Nathan Sylvester of East Sussex was charged with grevious bodily harm and Troy Lewis of London, was charged with grevious bodily harm, possession of an offensive weapon and possession of class A drugs with intent to supply. 

My Sylvester and Mr Lewis are due to appear at Southend Magistrate's Court this morning. 

Investigations are ongoing to locate a third man.
