Laurel & Hardy fan? Head down the pier to the new themed pop-up shop!

As locals, we tend to only the visit the pier on a spontaneous whim, but you may change your mind when you hear about the new pop up store. Open since last Thursday, the new Laurel & Hardy pop up store has arrived on the end our pier, making that 1.34 mile walk seem a little more worth it.

The pop up shop has all the Laurel & Hardy merchandise and memorabilia you need; from tea towels, aprons, tops, bags, umbrellas, postcards, and more novelty gifts, this little pop up shop is worth a visit. Yet, its not the first time Laurel & Hardy have been associated with our pier, they were pictured with the pier from their rooms in the Palace Hotel in August 1952 when they performed at the Odeon Southend as part of their tour.
