Leigh-on-Sea Car-Wash to be Developed
A proposal has been put into Southend Council to change the car wash at 120 Broadway into commercial and residential property.
The proposal, which was sent on the 10th October, will mean demolishing the exiting buildings and erecting 20 self-contained flats, 445 sqf of commercial floorspace and public real enhancements, including new vehicular access onto Victor Drive to 114-120 Broadway.
The car wash is opposite the Grand Hotel, which itself is planned to be converted into 19 residential apartments plus ground floor restaurant with basement bar and heath spa.
