Leigh-on-sea Folk Festival Call for Volunteers

The Leigh-on-sea Folk Festival is returning this summer with a great line-up of artists and entertainment but desperately need volunteers. The Volunteer Team is essential to the success of this vibrant free festival held in Leigh-on-sea over 2 days.

From hours of free music across two stages and children’s activities in Leigh Library Gardens to our ticketed concert in St Clement’s Church, plus dance sides, a makers market, great independent food traders, an open mic competition, storytelling, spoken word, comedy and singarounds…

Could you help us with…

✸ Build / Break Team – Fancy getting your hands dirty, learn new skills and use existing ones and have fun whilst doing so? Help us set-up and pack-down the festival a role vital to making the festival a success.

✸ Stage Runners / Artist Support – Working alongside the Stage Managers, help us ensure that the festival program runs to time and that our acts have what they need to deliver a truly memorable performance.

✸ Donation Collectors – Are you outgoing and like meeting new people? Help us sustain the future of Leigh Folk Festival by engaging with the community and messaging on how our free festival is financed through donations and volunteering.

We have volunteer slots to fill on Friday 27th June between 18:00 and 22:00, Saturday 28th June between 11:00 and 19:30, Sunday 29th June between 11:00 and 19:30.
