Leigh teacher released under investigation in sex grooming probe
A teacher from Leigh, who was arrested at a Basildon Primary School back in June on suspicion of sexual grooming offences has been released under investigation.
The 57 year old man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was originally released on bail until July 23, before being re-released until Saturday, August 18.
Parents rom the Basildon School confirmed that both Police Officers and the Ofsteasd Safeguarding Team had visited the school to speak with pupils and reports suggested that one-to-one contact has been put on hold.
