Local artist Darren Jones to exhibit at The Forum Space this April

An impressive exhibition by local artist Darren Jones will soon be displayed in the Forum Space at the Forum, Southend-on-Sea.

The work presented is a collection of more recent works, ranging from influences in music, fashion, sci-fi, cults, community and fantasy and are described by Darren as: “a lens into what I've been reading, watching, buying, learning or listening to.”

He said: “I've been in love with art since I could first make a mark on paper. Over the years I’ve tried many different mediums but found acrylics to be my main "go to".

“I studied at SEEC for three years and have had commissions for many projects including one involving a visit from a royal Prince. I paint my interests at the time, which are easily evident in each piece.”

Darren’s work will be exhibited at The Forum Space, The Forum, in Southend fron 4th – 30th April 2019. 

Opening times are as follows:

- Monday – Friday, 8am - 7pm

- Saturday, 8am - 5pm

- Sunday, 11am – 4pm
