Local Trainee GP appears in court on various sexual offence charges
Dr Kamran Ali, 39 of Leigh, has appeared in court charged with a number of sexual offences including six counts of sexual assualt and possession of extreme animal porn.
Ali, who worked in Leigh, denied six counts of sexual assault over allegations made by former paitents along with possession of child sex abuse images as he entered a not guilty plea at Southend Magistrates Court.
Ali has been released on conditional bail until his next appearance on January 8th at Basildon Crown Court.
His license to practice has been suspended whilst criminal proeedings are conducted.
