Man arrested on suspicion of daylight rape in Westcliff Seafront
An investigation has been launched after a woman claimed she was raped at a seafront beauty spot in broad daylight.
Police were called to the incident just before 3pm on Sunday 12th June at Southend Cliff Gardens, Westcliff.
A 42 year old man was arrested and is currently in custody in relation to the incident.
