Man spared jail after attacking cop

Conor Crosby, 24 of Laindon has been spared jail after drunkenly biting an officer's hand whilst being escorted off a plane to Ibiza. 

On September 14th, police were called to remove Crosby from the Easyjet flight at the request of Captain Michael Simmons due to his drunken disruptive behaviour.

Crosby appeared at Southend Magistrates court last Friday where he admitted failing too leave and being drunk on a plane, acting in a reckless manner and assaulting two police officers and was given a 12 month community order, with 80 hours unpaid work and instructed to complete a thinking skills programme. He was also ordered too pay compensation totalling £270.
