Murder probe launched after woman dies at care home in Westcliff ***UPDATE***

Robert Knight, 52 of The Fairway Leigh, will appear at Southend Magistrates Court on Wednesday 12th December to face charges of the murder of his relative June Knight, 79.

Police have arrested a 52 year old man on suspicion of murder after the death of a woman at a care home in Westcliff.
Officers were called at around 10pm on Monday December 10 after a woman in her 70's died of injuries whilst at the home.
The man, who was related to the deceased, was arrested at the scene amd remains in custody for questionning.
A post mortem will be carried out in due course.
