New Film Showcases a Leigh-on-Sea Institution

August 20, 2018 by Rich With

For many, Old Leigh is synonymous with the Osborne family. For generations they have trawled the estuary bringing up the prized seafood that locals and visitors alike adore.

To commemorate the latest cockling season (and this fabulous summer we are having) they commissioned a beautiful film to really show off both their business and by extension Old Leigh itself.

Showcasing the journey from the earliest of mornings to the end of the day when you can sit back with a pint and a plate of their world renowned cockles “Osbornes: On Land & Sea” showcases leigh-on-Sea at it’s finest. Beautiful estuary views, sunrises and sunsets make this a truly lovely snapshot into real Leigh life.

Produced and directed by local companies Grow Creative and New Art Films and shot over the last 6 weeks it’s well worth 5 minutes of your time. Enjoy.
