Person die's after being hit by a train
Person die's after being hit by a train
A person has sadly died after being hit by a train at around 10am this morning at Southend East Station.
Emergency services, alongside British Transport Police, were called to the incident after report's that somebody had been hit by a train. They are now working to identify the individual and inform their next of kin.
National Rail have warned customers to expect delays and advised to utilise Arriva Bus Services between Shoeburyness and Southend Central.
The incident is not being treated as suspicious.
