Serial rapist hid tablet in cell to view child abuse images
Richard Baker who was given four life sentences in 1999 for carrying out a number of attacks and dubbed "Britains Worst Serial Rapist' has been able to access hundreds of child absuse images whilst locked up in a secure mental health unit.
Baker, originally a DJ carried out a number of attacks in London & Brighton over a six month period in 1998. He horrendously raped a 15 year old girl in the ground's of Belfairs Swimming Pool and indecently assaulted a 21 year old woman in Westcliff. A third victim fought him off in the underpath in Southend.
On Thursday Baker was sentenced to an additonal 6 years for possessing and making indecent images of children. He was told he would be a 'very old man' before being released, if it ever happened at all.
