Saturday 16th November bring's you the Southend Christmas Lights Switch On with fun festive fun and Chrismas spirit for everyone!

Join in the celebration at this year’s Switch On with the return of their breath taking, twinkling 40 foot Christmas Tree and enjoy a fantastic line up of entertainement throughout the High Street with live music, activities and games.

Shop at the Christmas Farmers and Craft Market to stock up on yummy locally sourced treats and beautiful gifts for your family and friends... or you can just pick up something for yourself!

Full Line Up of Entertainment

Main Stage Victoria Circus: 1 - 6pm

Dom Atkins will host the stage from 1 - 4:30pm bringing you lots of local talent.

From 4.30pm you can then catch 'Martin and Su' with a continued fanastic line up of talent the the 'BIG SWITCH ON'. With special guests Sarah Tucker from The Voice and Eastenders' Ricky Champ. 

The Visit Southend Stage at royal Square: 12 - 8pm:

BBC Essex will be hosting a fun packed day for the whole family, with performances from incredible choirs, singers and musicians!

Arts and crafts: 11am - 4pm 

Both The Royals and Victoria Shopping Centre will be hosting a day full of fun arts and crafts activities to get you in the Christmas spirit. Or head to The Royals to meet the magical life sized snow lion and red Queen!

The Grand Fireworks Finale: 7:30pm

BBC Essex will be counting down to the grand seafront fireworks finale of this year’s Big switch on!
