Temperatures set to soar further
Temperatures are set to soar even further again in leigh-on-sea next week, with predictions showing 31 degrees at the latter part.
Many parts of Essex haven't seen any rain for 49 days, and although some was briefly forecast this week, none has materialised and temperatures have consistently remained around the mid twenties.
In the last recorded heat wave in 2003, temperatures in Essex were recorded at a whopping 37.5 degrees.
