Yesterday the Prime Minister confirmed a move to Plan B in England as Omicron spreads across the UK. Southend-on-Sea Borough Council is urging residents to follow the measures to help reduce transmission and slow the spread of the Omicron variant.
Southend-on-Sea Borough Council is aware of one highly probable and one probable case of COVID-19 with mutations consistent with B.1.1.529 (variant – omicron) that have been identified in Shoeburyness, Southend-on-Sea.
Unpaid carers aged 16 and over, are now eligible to receive the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccination.
