Rob our property specialist talks about the local little huts that are like gold dust!
This week, our property expert Rob advises on how and why, Estate Agents are really worth their weight in gold...
Wimbledon has started and for a change we are currently experiencing a bit of a heatwave (at least that saves us from listening to Cliff Richard singing in a rain delay again!).
Our Property Specialist Rob tell's you the latest about his renovation works!
We have taken on 2 completely different properties and they have both gone crazy with potential purchasers wishing to view. It was a 2 bedroom ground floor flat in Leigh Hall Road that came on to the market late Tuesday evening for £235,000 and a 3 bedroom semi detached house in Olivia Drive that came on at the same time for £349,995.
By the time you read this I will have hopefully completed the Southend Half Marathon that took place on Sunday.
This week sees the start of this years Leigh Art Trail and we are delighted at Scott & Stapleton that we have been selected to be one of the venues.
You may have noticed by my absence that I was away last week. I know you were all waiting by your inboxes for the latest property blog but surely even estate agents are allowed some time off?
One of the questions I get asked the most, is what is my favourite house is that I have ever seen or sold? Obviously this changes depending on what mood I am in......
That was a bit unexpected wasn't it? I voted on Thursday and got myself settled in for a night to watch the telly and see the results come flooding in.
This week, our Property Expert Rob give's you an insight into how compromising could actually get you your dream home!
It is going to be a very important few weeks. The General election is now less than 3 weeks away and the battle is definitely starting to heat up.
With the reforms from the last budget on pensions taking effect this week. Are we likely to see a surge of people looking to purchase buy to let properties to generate an income for their old age?
The weather seems to be turning and we are very much in to Spring. Together with a bank holiday weekend there really are no excuses not to be out in the garden.
The time for talking is over, no more excuses. We are nearly ready to start work on our house in what already feels like the largest building project that has ever been undertaken in Leigh.
Everything seems very positive for Leigh on Sea at the moment which is fantastic news for everyone. There is unfortunately one exception though which is The Grand.
This weeks blog has got to be the easiest ever. The Times, no less, has done all of the work for me!
Many of us can recall those brutal days when, in the name of modernity, some homeowners began skipping their old fireplaces and removing awkward chimney breasts to create contemporary spaces with clean lines and flat walls. Even today, most new-build flats have no hint of a fireplace.
I am all for competition. I believe it is essential in an open property market to have competitors, vying for business therefore offering the best possible service for the most reasonable fee.
