c2c launches £15 summer return train travel offer to Southend-on-Sea

Available for off-peak travel from c2c London stations to anywhere between Leigh-on-Sea and Shoeburyness from 21 July to 31 August 2026, the £15 flat-fare offer can be booked up to just one day in advance and is designed to make summer journeys more affordable.

Whether planning a family day at the seaside, meeting friends for lunch by the estuary or exploring South Essex's coastal towns, customers can use the £15 return fare to enjoy summer travel across the c2c network.

Customers not travelling from London c2c stations can also take advantage of £10 return fares, giving customers more ways to explore seaside destinations across the c2c route.

The £15 fare can also be combined with c2c’s family-friendly offers, including free travel for children under five and £2 tickets for children aged five to 15 on eligible off-peak services during weekends and school holidays.

Alongside the new £15 fare summer offer, customers can also take advantage of a range of existing c2c discounts and ticket options, including:

£2 child fares - children aged five to 15 can travel for £2 on eligible off-peak services during weekends and school holidays

Family Travelcard includes TfL travel, ideal for customers exploring London

Senior Rover - for customers aged 65 and over, looking to discover destinations along the c2c route

GroupSave - groups of three or more can save 1/3 on train travel

These offers give customers more opportunities to save on leisure travel during the summer holidays and throughout the year.
