Careers ‘Making every day count’ at local hospice charity

A local charity is opening its doors for local jobseekers to explore a career that’s ‘Making every day count.’

Havens Hospices is holding a Nursing Careers Open Day on Monday 10th July for those looking for a rewarding career in nursing.

The event, taking place at Fair Havens in Prittlewell from 2-6pm, will give attendees the opportunity to discover the Healthcare Assistant and Nursing roles available, as well as meet the clinical teams, tour the hospice and have on-the-day interviews for available positions.

The registered charity, offers several employee benefits, including employee wellbeing sessions, matching NHS salaries through ‘Agenda for Change’, NHS pensions for continuing members and a £1000 welcome gift for all Nurse and Healthcare Assistant roles.

Fair Havens provides care and support to adults living with incurable conditions in Southend, Castle Point and Rochford.

The charity works closely with the person and their health and social care professionals to ensure their care and support is the best it can possibly be, so the whole family can get the most from life, and make every day count.
