Dreamboats & miniskirts Review

I attended the performance last night, not knowing what to expect. From the moment the performance began to the finish, I was impressed with the amount of energy on stage.

The live music was a pleasure to listen to, especially in the second half the audiences feet were tapping for most of it. Joseph Hardy on the trumpet and Chloe Edwards-Wood and Laura Sillett on the saxophone really took the music to another level. The chemistry between the actors playing Norman and Sue really made you want the band to succeed for the young family. The story line is pretty simple, a love story, boy & girl fall out, they go their own way and finishes with a happy ending, However the music takes you on a nostalgic journey and the songs come thick and fast.

You cannot help but remember those hot carefree summers of youth, defiantly worth a visit, if you love sixties music.
