easyJet announces new flights from London Southend to Edinburgh

easyJet has announced a new route between London Southend Airport and Edinburgh, further strengthening its UK domestic network and providing customers in Essex and the wider South East with direct access to Scotland’s capital.

Flights are on sale now, with the new service set to commence on 25th October 2026 and operate twice a week on Thursdays and Sundays.

The route is ideally timed for long weekends, short breaks, visiting friends and family and business travel, offering customers flexible and affordable travel options between the two cities.

The new route will support tourism, business connectivity and regional ties. With quick access to central London from London Southend Airport and Edinburgh Airport well connected to the city centre, the service enables customers to make the most of their time at both ends of the journey.
