Fashion latest! The Trend that will carry you through from Winter 14 to Summer 15!!

Although it may feel to some like your wearing tin-foil, the metallic trend has taken us to Summer festivals and will carry us through to the Christmas festivities, working perfectly for both. Everyone is doing the metallic, from designers like McQueen and his sci-fi dress to high-street brands such as Zara’s bronzed mule shoe.

Marc Jacobs Autumn/Winter line at London Fashion week showcased the perfect metallic moment with the two toned blue coat, which has also been seen on Alexa Chung all ready for the unwanted winter rain.

Likewise, globally known, yet local brand to Leigh-on-Sea, The Ragged Priest, have a more affordable option the ‘cher’ anorak in bubble-gum pink; a jacket that will take you from a fun festival to brightening up your rainy day.

My key piece for the trend would have to be the metallic mini, with many thanks to Richard Nicoll and Christopher Kane ,the cosmic metal and foil finishes on every skirt works perfectly.

However for a high-street alternative River Island and Topshop brought the goods, which teamed up with a T-Shirt and sports trainers create a edgy yet comfortable seasonal look.

Not only is it clothing that the metallic’s have taken over but also make-up with metallic eyes in shimmering silver, gold and bronze. Celebrities such as Rihanna and Scarlet Johansson use silver and bronze to add something different to an outfit well within the Autumn/Winter trend and just in time to get practising for Christmas!

Therefore whether your wearing the trend on you feet, body or eyes it’s awfully catching and will look incredible right the way through to Spring/Summer 2015.
