Gift Buying At Christmas!

Gift buying at Christmas... Or any time of year for that matter!

It's Christmas... The time of good cheer and craziness in the shops! What is Black Friday all about anyway? I was in the mall on Friday and the crowds were crazy, people were stressed and to be honest there's just no need.

Make it a fun day out, yes Christmas shopping can be fun and this is how.

First of all get organised, don't just head to the shops without a plan. Write a list of people you need to buy for and a budget for each person. Then add a couple of hobbies beside their name and a store you might find something in. Now head to a shopping centre you know well, this way you won't add to your stress and make it fun. Do stay hydrated(remember it's an artificial environment and this will tire you out), take regular breaks and if that's a coffee break then please make it decaf as any caffeine will add to your stress. Plan a extra special lunch and maybe a trip to the cinema afterwards to unwind.

That'll minimise your stress.

Now back to that list.... When you're in your familiar mall head systematically to the stores on your list and keep to your budget. Think about what that person would want, not what you want or would want them to have. If your auntie likes jewellery then buy her jewellery... If that's what makes her happy. If your husband likes experiences then get him one... They're great for the man who has everything. I'd also like to point out at this juncture that the packages you buy boxed in the stores are often not great value for money. Go direct to the supplier, such as flying lessons from one of Southend's flying clubs will give you twice the time in the air that the boxed version from Debenhams will get you. I know this as this is what I bought my dad for his birthday.

Now if you're struggling and want my help, just get in touch and of course I offer gift vouchers for both men and women. They'd make a great gift 07812 244174angela@angela-poplett.co.uk!

If you don't get what you want at Christmas, sometimes a hint is not enough.

Merry Christmas!
