Half Term workshops at Create98!

Create98 have got a full programme for the half term holiday, a great mix of kids classes as well as family activities and adult workshops!

Get your half term plans sorted, here is a snap shot of what’s on at Create98 (28th Oct – 1st Nov)  - 

Monday 28th, 9:30am – 12pm Kicking off the day with Halloween clay work for 8-12yr olds, make spooky clay ghosts or pumpkins using hand-building techniques and basic pottery tools, £20

Tuesday 29th, 10am – 12pm Another one for the 8-12yr olds, a fantastic combination of baking and creating art in a similar theme. Why not join us this half term for a mix of fun at Art & Bake? £15

Wednesday 30th, 10am – 12pm Try out a family activity, in our Halloween Plaster Casts activity! Create your own spooky plaster casts to decorate your house for Halloween! Perfect for parent and child, all ages welcome! £15

Thursday 31st, 10am – 11:30am Halloween Painting – Cats, Bats and All Things Spooky! Learn to paint something spooky in acrylics, suitable for 5yrs and above. £15

Friday 1st Nov, 1 – 3pm Design and make a feature pinboard in your own choice of fabric & style. It works as a pinboard for pictures, notes and momentos or as a jewellery display store. All materials are provided & the finished project will be ready to take home and hang on the wall. Suitable for 8-12years. £15

It doesn’t stop there, take a look at Create98’s Mexican Day of the Dead themed ‘Social Art and Food’ night, Saturday 9th Nov. Get your creative juices flowing and explore the Mexican holiday with a variety of colour and medium. The menu is layered salsa, guacamole and sour cream topped with toasted nachos, tacos with a variety of tasty fillings and homemade churros served with ice cream and cajeta, a Mexican style caramel sauce for desert! £35, 6:30 – 9:30pm – one for the grown ups!
