International Women’s Day 2026 at The Holiday Inn Southend Airport

To celebrate International Women’s Day 2026, Lady McAdden Breast Cancer Trust (based in Leigh-on-sea) is hosting a relaxed and inspiring lunchtime event bringing women together for an afternoon of connection, conversation and purpose.

Taking place on Friday 6 March at the stunning 1935 Rooftop Restaurant, Holiday Inn Southend Airport, guests will enjoy a delicious two-course lunch with tea and coffee, served alongside sweeping views across Southend and beyond.

The highlight of the afternoon will be an engaging panel discussion featuring a brilliant group of women from media, marketing, journalism, global business and more. They’ll share honest stories and reflections on life, love, work, resilience, and leadership, along with all the highs, the challenges and everything in between.

The conversation will be chaired by Christine Wyatt, Trustee of the Lady McAdden Breast Cancer Trust and owner of Flourish & Bloom, who will guide a thoughtful and uplifting discussion celebrating strong women and the importance of supporting one another.

Guests are encouraged to bring friends, colleagues or family members to enjoy great food, inspiring conversation and a feel-good afternoon. There will also be the chance to take part in the much-loved Lady McAdden Raffle and Prize Draw, with some lovely prizes to be won.

Tickets are just £45 per person, with all proceeds supporting the work of the Lady McAdden Breast Cancer Trust.
