Legal Eagle: What if I'm Hit by a Bus?
Question: My girlfriend and I have just bought a house together and someone has said to us that if I got knocked down by a bus and died, she may not be able to continue living there? Is that true?
Answer: Unfortunately that may be the case. It depends upon the way that you own the property, the situation with any mortgage and whether you have a Will. Get some advice on your particular situation, and in the meantime, keep away from buses!
