It’s that time of the year again – the Leigh Lights switch on. So put the date in your diary: NOVEMBER 22^nd. The fun begins around 4.30pm when the streets are cleared of cars and the stalls come out. The excitement is building in leigh-on-sea.com towers: Mulled wine, the procession, more mulled wine, the lights, and yet more mulled wine. The Broadway, Broadway West, Rectory Grove – they all come alive for Leigh’s “Night of the Lights”. Come and join in the party atmosphere when the streets are buzzing with the anticipation of Christmas. This year a ‘theme’ has been introduced: A Christmas Carol. Expect to see a procession with a difference!

There's entertainment a plenty. Expect to hear: Funky Voices, The Rock Choir, Chalkwell Infants Choir, Southend Youth Choir, 4 & 20 Blackbirds and much more . . .
