Leigh-on-Sea.com featured on BBC Radio Essex

As you are now probably aware, Leigh-on-Sea was voted yesterday as the happiest place to live in Britain.

Many of us, of course, already knew our little town by the sea was the happiest in the land, and one person who never doubted Leigh’s loveliness was our very own Jo Harrison, who was on Dave Monk’s show on BBC Essex yesterday to talk about the site, festivals, and all things Leigh-on-Sea.

If you didn’t get a chance to listen live, as we did with bated breath, click the link here to listen, the interview starts at around the 1 hour 44 minute mark, just after a nice bit of Lene Marlin.

In celebration of this glorious accolade, leigh-on-sea.com have started #HappyLeigh, a movement dedicated to celebrating all that which makes Leigh-on-Sea the marvel that it is.

Get behind #HappyLeigh on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram and be sure to look out for further developments over the coming weeks.
