Local Financial Experts Host Free Community Financial Surgery in Leigh-on-Sea

Residents in Leigh-on-Sea are invited to attend a free Financial Surgery later this month, offering practical, friendly guidance on tax and personal finance matters in an informal setting.

Sarah from TaxAssist Leigh-on-Sea and Sally from Bastet Wealth Management will host the event on Wednesday 27th May 2026 from 3pm to 6pm at Leigh Community Centre.

The Financial Surgery has been designed as an open, drop-in session where local people can seek clear, practical advice on a range of financial topics, including tax, budgeting, savings, financial planning, and general money management.

The initiative reflects both businesses’ ongoing commitment to supporting the local community, with a particular focus on championing local women and charitable causes.

Speaking about the event, the organisers said they wanted to create a welcoming and accessible space where people feel comfortable asking questions about their finances, no matter how simple or complex.
