New Hospice Opens Doors for Supporters

February 18, 2020 by Noah Holland

New hospice Fair Havens will allow supporters the rare opportunity to take a tour of the building before it begins caring for patients.

The £17.2 million project will be handed from Barnes Construction to the charity, allowing tours from 2nd-15th March. The tours will last around 30 minutes.

The new hospice will be located at Priory Crescent in Prittlewell, opposite Priory Park. It will care for adults with a variety of complex or incurable conditions in a relaxing and welcoming environment, complete with therapy rooms, gym, and landscaped gardens.

While the care at Havens Hospices continues to be free, this can only happen with support from local people. To make a donation, go to https://www.havenshospices.org.uk/support-us/make-a-donation/.
