Scott & Stapleton Acquire EC Lettings

Fabulous news, for us anyway.

We have just pulled off a bit of a coup.

We, at Scott & Stapleton have great pleasure in announcing that we have just acquired EC Lettings.

All of the landlords and tenants are already aware but now we can shout it from the roof tops and let everyone know. We have brought over the entire EC Lettings portfolio, plus all of their fabulous staff and they are all now based in our fantastic offices at 42 Broadway. 

The existing landlords from EC Lettings have the piece of mind that they will be dealing with the same staff that they always have and important things like bank accounts will stay the same so tenants and landlords can rest easy thinking they will not have to change standing orders or direct debits.

This is obviously great news for us at Scott & Stapleton. We have just inherited a great portfolio of rental properties along with the fabulous experienced staff and it means that we are now easily the biggest letting agents in Leigh and the surrounding area.

Now, as I am painfully aware, size isn’t everything. But what it does mean, in this case is that we can give the lettings part of the estate agency business the attention it really deserves. For too long rentals has been the ugly sister in most estate agency offices playing second fiddle to the sales department, being tucked away at the back of most offices dealt with by 1 or 2 people.

If you have an investment property or are a tenant with us you will now be dealing with a team of 11 experienced, members of staff all with specific roles to meet any and all of your property requirements.

We have a specific area dealing with accounts, chasing rents and transferring money and a team for property management, dealing with any property issues or maintenance problems. This is all the behind the scenes stuff that is so important but often overlooked. 

Another important area that has just doubled in size is the lettings marketing department. We now have the most experienced and motivated staff in our new lettings marketing department backed up by extensive advertising ensuring that no investment property is empty for long and that the best possible tenants are housed quickly and efficiently.
