Simply Seafood Closure

The old town restaurant that opened less than five years ago has been forced to shut down due to financial difficulties - despite being one of the most popular restaurants in Leigh. Initially the restaurant flourished but it is rumored to have struggled recently in the dire economic climate. Many people are left shocked and upset about the closure of Simply Seafood.

Simply Seafood opened as a restaurant in July 2008 after the owners transformed the building from what was previously a cockle shed in the High Street. Since it’s opening it has attracted many regular customers and has been branded “the most popular restaurant in town”.
