“I am very much looking forward to the responsibility of representing the Borough, meeting as many members of the local community as possible, attending a range of events and supporting my chosen charities. I will also support other local charities by attending their events and offer them the use of Porters, our Civic House, for fund raising activates.

“I want to work with local primary Schools and would love to open up the doors of Porters , our 15th century Civic House to groups of local schoolchildren to help them discover the rich history and heritage of Southend.

“I am also passionate about our business community. This is the powerhouse of our town, creating employment and income which provide our prosperity and growth. I hope that they will give me the opportunity to help promote their businesses through the Mayoralty and through events arranged jointly with the Mayor’s Charity Committee.”
