Southend Seafront to Light Up with Free Firework Spectaculars This Autumn

The skies above Southend seafront will once again dazzle this autumn as the City’s much-loved Firework Spectaculars return for the 2025 season.
Presented by The Seaside Partnership, the free weekly displays will take place every Saturday night from September 27 to November 15, offering residents and visitors seven weeks of vibrant pyrotechnic shows.
Showtimes will begin at 8:00 PM throughout September and October, switching to a slightly earlier 7:30 PM start in November to accommodate the darker evenings.
Each display will be launched from a barge stationed approximately 400 metres offshore, providing prime viewing all along Marine Parade. The displays are expected to last around ten minutes, packing plenty of sparkle, colour, and excitement into each performance.
Organisers are encouraging families, couples, and groups of friends to wrap up warm and head down to the seafront to soak in the buzzing atmosphere — from the enticing scent of fish and chips, to the sounds of Adventure Island rides and arcade machines.
So grab your coats, round up your loved ones, and get ready to “ooh” and “ahh” as Southend lights up the night once again.
