Taking Care Of Playground
A group of a dozen community-minded youngsters from Canvey Island, aged between 4 and 12, have started a campaign to improve their play area. The area is littered with broken glass, potholes and cracked kerbs, and the band of friends want to make the rundown green, in St George's Walk, a safer and more attractive place to play. They have already held a cupcake sale to raise money to fund the improvements, such as new bins and plants.
